Peak Football/soccer anime. If you enjoyed Bluelock, then the 2018 version of the classic Captain Tsubasa is a good watch

Both series are essentially, battle shounen meets sport, to the extreme. Unreal powers, super speed, move names, they are both so much ridiculous fun that I implore you to watch one if you haven't seen the other!

Just like Tsubasa - Eijun Sawamura is the best player in his hometown. But what will happen if he collides with higher caliber players in big town? Will his dream come true? Will he be an ACE? Animations are similar, the pace is very similar to original Captain Tsubasa series, there are a lot of "special moves" same like in CT. Diamond no Ace is one of top sports anime. It has already two seasons with huge number of 126 episodes! It's all about sport, friendship and hard work. If you like Captain Tsubasa series there is no way that you will not like Diamond  read more

This title has also be written and drawn by Captain Tsubasa's author. NEVERTHELESS... There are no Tsubasa Ozoras around to be the stars in this anime. Just guys who have to try hard in order to win. Failure is part of progressing. This show is ideal for those who were really mad because of the fact everything was always perfect in Captain Tsubasa. In my opinion, the author did this on purpose! lol

Both shows are about young boys, all of them are targeting big goals. Haruka is talented like Tsubasa, also there is Rin who is same like Misaki, he changed schools and went to train to Australia. Similarities: - sports anime - rivalry - friendship - training and experiencing first losses

These anime aren't similar in every way but they are both sports anime with an overpowered and reckless main character. Someone who likes Tsubasa (especially as he is in the Middle School tournament) will probably also like Goro.

Both revolving around sports in primary school level as they are not as strong as pro players but they are striving to be one.

The main characters are both really strong at the beginning, and they both come in a school were the club is very weak. And their arrival at this club will change everything in it. They also are both extremely passionate and loving the sport that they are doing more than everything. They push the other members of the club to be stronger and stronger, and all the club is improving because of them ! With their teammates their also similiraties : somes are very weak, and the main character helps them, and some are very strong, and they are moving forward together !

Have you ever played the MASTER LEAGUE on Pro Evolution Soccer? Well, if you have no idea what I'm talking about it's basically a game mode in which you are a lame player / manager and have to become stronger in order to win the leagues and be promoted and considered a great team. Giant Killing is about falling and shows us the perspective a football team manager has. How do you control every team player? How do you become stronger? Is the budget enough to bring new people? Give GK a try. You'll certainly love it.
