Abstract. "Action speak louder than words" as they say, although Puparia does this to the extreme so much so that there are literally no words in vocals or characters, Road to You isn't far off with the mute characters too but has song vocals. Puparia also has surreal art though compared to the illogical abstract in Road to You. Both are good shorts, Road to You does this with one ad in its collection of three compared to Puparia entirety.

Very powerful and moving commercials in the time span they provide. What is simply a short story can still stick to an individual be it entirely or at the back of their head. Good stuff all around with these extremely fast to binge commercials.

Stargazing. Road to You and KoiAster both feature a story around stargazing and the different life bonds that connect to such a simple task. Whether it is a family promise, or a childhood friend blooming from such, both are pretty good watches. Road to You does with once in its collection of ads compared to the TV anime based on the matter, however.

From boku to kimi. Road to You and Your Name feel particularly similar in bringing together characters towards one singular point. Road to You is much more quantitative and indirect in this manner, compare to Your Name's distinct clarification. One is a full movie, the other is a collection of ads, great visuals, great music, and some supernatural/product placement doing the job to bring all to unity.

Abstract. "Action speak louder than words" as they say, Road to You and Mudai follow this concept to some extent. They both use abstract art to convey current screen emotions to the viewer, whilst the underlying story plays on top of it giving a motif of a real deep story. Both are good shorts with one of its collection of three ads, the other being a music video.

The two series are short series with similar run time. The pair surround characters going through a similar horror short. One the horror of living in a ninja society the other the horror of not having Winter Maxx tires. You will enjoy and laugh at each episode, because you will definitely see that a tire ad has the better quality animation. Personally, I wasn't sold on being a ninja. I can just get in my car with Winter Maxx tires and drive away from the monsters.
