Gundam is a fantastic space/mecha show and Uchuu Senkan Tiramisu is sort of like a Gundam parody and you should check it out if you liked Gundam

Both shows have a sci fi setting, with a protagonist who isn't too bright - he acts first and thinks later, which, expectedly, lands him (and his companions) in a host of troubles. Both shows don't take themselves too seriously, which means there's a LOT of silly comedy and humour that's totally out there. The women, too, don't serve much of a purpose in both shows, except for being a big-breasted hardass or being nameless characters.

Tiramisu may as well be a parody of Space Dandy. The similarities are very obvious, watch an episode and see.

The similarities are very apparent if you've seen both. This is basically Cro High in space. Comedic Timing Absurd and Care-free Plots The dub actors took liberty with the script Length of Episodes

Both have Space, and Sci-Fi tags. Both have a great sense of humor and the element of comedy is dominant. Both protagonists are cute but behave in a funny or stupid way. No actual plot in any of them, but once you start watching you always want more.
