Both have similar story and characters. they main characters want to stop the war between two sides. The feeling you egt from Valkyria Chronicles is similar to Allison and Lillia. Both very good anime (well Valkyria is good so far)

Both about a girl and a boy who likes to fly. Advanture genre anime with military involved. Eventhough the settings are not alike the overall feeling seems similar to me. Pleasant shows. If you like one you might like the other.

Main characters from both series ride on a plane. They go off on an adventure. Civil war breaks out between countries/nations and they are caught in the middle of it. They must stop the war from happening and change the world for the better. The main characters ideals/views will be tested. Stunning animation, characters, music/OST and visual are presented in both series.

Based on novels by the same author, both feature the wide-shot traveling scenes (including motorcycles) and have a calming, thought-provoking atmosphere

Both adventure series use a similar setting featuring traditional propeller airplane technology. Human relationships are charming and romantic, helped by a great soundtrack.

Set in a historical European like setting both deal with war, friendship, romance, espionage, with the use of trains and airplanes being used in both backgrounds. The two shows have a similar tone of balancing serious and confident leading ladies who want to help the country/world they live in only difference is ones GL and ones not.

Similar use of mechanical devices and military themes. There is also an adventure style in play in both series as well as action, drama, and conspiracy.

Both Main characters Get separated by warfare. Both Anime have the leading characters in love. Throughout the story you get the same Vibe, from the two leading characters.

Other than the fact that 3 of the leads are voiced by the magnificent Mizuki Nana, the stories for both are short and changes in arc occur every few episodes. Both are rather dramatic in nature, with Hakushaku to Yousei being more fantasy type, and Allison and Lillia more adventrue type.

Fuses romance/comedy shoujo with superb action and suspense!

Both titles take place in an earlier era, and are grand adventures happening by way of the open sky, all while visiting different lands and environments. Great for the adventure lover in us all!

Both Violet Evergarden and Allison to Lillia are story about war. What unique about both of them, that is most of the time, the war is on the backround. Most of the time, the main characters (Aliison and Violet) do not take part in the war, and the story is about how the world deals with how the war effects the daily life of the common people.

It's mostly about a kid talented with airplanes and his/her adventures. As opposed to Allison & Lillia Cluster Edge shows some supernatural powers though.

Both anime have a similiar ending and plot... a mystery, a incident between the both kingdoms and a boy who want to protect the girl but she will always punch him when he will do something dumb :D
