Synopsis

Ichirou Suzuki, a programmer nearing his thirties, is drowning in work. Worn out, he eventually has a chance to catch up on sleep, only to wake up and discover himself in a fantasy RPG world, which is mashed together from the games he was debugging in reality. In this new place, he realizes that not only has his appearance changed to a younger version of himself, but his name has also changed to Satou, a nickname he used while running beta tests on games.

However, before Satou can fully grasp his situation, an army of lizardmen launch an assault on him. Forced to cast a powerful spell in retaliation, Satou wipes them out completely and his level is boosted to 310, effectively maximizing his stats. Now, as a high-leveled adventurer armed with a plethora of skills and no way to return to reality, Satou sets out to explore this magical new world.

to be honest, it's a nice show to watch and unwind, sort of like an anime mixed with a slice of life and a little adventure, we still didn't get fight scenes or some grand twist in the story, thus making it perfect to enjoy the story as they try to give us a world-building, don't judge unless you try for your self with an open-minded mindset.
an honest review for an honest anime.

the story itself is like almost any isekai, the MC gets transported into a magic world where he finds himself in a place unfamiliar to him, but it hints for twists in the ...

Mixed Feelings
This might just be the most generic Anime I ever watched, and I think that's sort of okay.

It had no strengths, but also no weaknesses - and how could it? Everything about it was safe, simple, predictable and average. I'm kind of impressed by just how bland this show was, yet I wasn't bored. Now that it's over though, I feel like I skipped 4 hours of my life with no real gain or loss. So uninspired and bland, I guess that's kinda depressing, actually.
I guess I could complain about a few details, but why bother? I don't care enough and honestly cannot imagine ...

Isekai is, to me, a genre that is of low quality anyway. But that isn't the genre's fault specifically, but more that isekai tends to be a vessel for self-insert power fantasies, where the main character doesn't get into any issue and everything always goes right for them. Fantasy sort of falls under the same bracket, but I think isekai is the worst contender for this because it's more fun to imagine yourself getting transported over to a fantasy world, in a sort of escapist way.

That being said, isekai has so much potential. For example, we have Re:Zero, an isekai which places some focus on ...
