Both series are mobage adaptations that were given huge budgets to make a glorified advertisement. Complete creative freedom over how to make it let the authors put their effort into silly and fun shenanigans that emphasize how cute the girls are, and in case of AV making a really badass character-driven story.

Both animes are about a group of five girls with superpower, with some "magic girl transformation" and fighting against some mysterious monsters to save the world. Both also have a large bunch of secondary characters doing the same thing.

Goodlooking girls in cute/sexy uniforms/costumes wielding weapons/using supernatural powers fighting against evil and protecting the world. The difference is, in Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka, the girls hide their identity as magical girls in public. While in Schoolgirl Strikers: Animation Channel, the girls' true identity as super heroines are not covered. Its time for the girls pick up their weapons and save the world!

Goodlooking girls in cute/sexy uniforms/costumes wielding weapons/using supernatural powers fighting against evil and protecting the world. The difference is, in Release The Spyce, the girls are spies who hide their identity in public and they seem only to possess outstanding physical prowess and not having supernatural powers. While in Schoolgirl Strikers: Animation Channel, the girls' true identity as super heroines are not covered and they also possess supernatural powers. Its time for the girls pick up their weapons and save the world!
