Coluboccoro and Forest Fairy Five are both about cute fantasy plant creatures living in a magical world and going on fun adventures.

Cute girls doing cute things anime where the moe cast are sickeningly sweet creatures resurrected from the depth of the uncanny valley. Vague relations to food (mushrooms and bread respectively), but more off-putting than anything else. Some attempts are made re: contemporary relevance in both. The girls all fit very neatly into their character types and the similarly preppy music would be lifting and energising magic for the soul if one managed to hold on to their soul past the 30 second mark. So I guess if you are one the the select few who enjoyed either Pan de Peace or Forest Fairy Five, you will be  read more

Cute, badly animated, moe moe anime-chans doing potentially-can-be-interpreted-as-cute things. They're both shorts with a similarly upbeat (and mentally draining) atmosphere. If you liked Forest Fairy Five, you will be sure to love Crane Game Girls, though I'm not sure it'll work the other way round. Both are quality shows if you are a fan of irony.
