Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho

The situation between the 2 main characters is the same in both anime , the travel , the feels. Spice and Wolf is of course better than Zero kara and if you liked it you will certainly love Zero kara too !  

The stories are widely different yet it gives the seem feel. Both are somewhat laid back, involve travelling and a human interaction (political/strategy) like aspect. 

Similar kind of story telling, similar pace also, watching Zero brings back memories of Spice and Wolf. 

Always think of Spice and Wolf while watching Zero no Sho. Similar background settings (medieval Europe-like towns), both being stories of travelling together, even the heroine get similar characterization. If you like either of the series, you may find another interesting also. (Just a side note that Zero no Sho got nothing with Economics; instead it deals with magic stuff.) 

Extremly similar feeling, the interaction between the main characters is similar, even the artstyle somehow reminds me of Spice and Wolf 

Interactions between the two main characters have a similar light-hearted feel to Holo & Lawrence. The dynamic between the two is very similar. 

Both shows are medieval fantasies that focus on a group who go on an adventure in search of a lost item. They also follow similar plot structures, with the self-proclaimed mercenary being 'hired' by the lead character and their bonds develop as the story progresses  

Both feature a protagonist as a mercenary hired by a girl who's looking for something. Both have a solid and completed story, with well written characters and good world building. Overall, they are a very fun watch, especially if you like adventure/fantasy. 

The shows starts off with two people of different paths converge in a somewhat fated manner. The strangers met and together they tread the consequences of their meeting until they have peacefully come to an understanding. Soon, agreement was forged and an unlikely journey in search of an object of high importance begins. Aside from having similar beginnings and extensive high-fantasy elements, they feature fascinating lores that are very relevant in their respective plots and not just designed merely for the sake of setting. The protagonists at play are interesting both in personality and backgrounds and in addition some are particularly similar in their professions (Zero and Chaika utilize magics/spells while the Mercenary and Toru are proficient at blade weaponry). In addition to the very similar name and equivalent amount of furry in a fantasy world, these two satisfy my thirst for adventure in very different ways in the sens that Isekai Seikatsu is dark and full of terrors while Mahou no Sho is bright and suffers terribly from the lack of ecchi. 

Like the whole witch thing from Re:Zero? You might want to check out this anime though this one does not have much suspense but it surly is filled with hilarious scenes. Just watch it as as a filler series. Don't expect it to be that great though... 

No deeper connections other than the co-protagonist Zero sharing some visual similarities with lovely Elaina. Both charmingly cute witches with petite figure, purple-blue eyes, and long silver-grey hair with a cowlick traveling around. 

The character "Mercenary" Is very similar to the main character in Guin Saga.
