The relationship between the two main characters are pretty similar. If you liked Nezumi and Shion's relationship then you should like Duanmu xi and Yang Jinghua's.

The pair of male leads share a very unique "selfless love" kind of relationship. Both shows are filled with action and the main character's lives are often on the line.

both anime are so alike , it could pass as another season from the series if you love one , you’ll definitely love the other .. although mao do zu shi has a little deeper plot and more exciting adventures

Dead people come back to earth as spirits and get rid of evil. Focus on friendship and contains BL subtext among two partners in evil-fighting.

Master/servant dynamics, spirits and people who see them, and mystery, with BL subtext to spice things up.

Two male protagonists with opposing personalities (silly/fun-loving and stoic/tsundere) work together to vanquish evil. Also has themes of freindship and (arguable) BL subtext.

A naive male protagonist and a tsundere-type male protagonist work for an organization that fights evil supernatural beings. A lot of focus on friendship and some added BL subtext.

Both great shows with mystery + shounen ai

Both are quite humorous with beautiful animation and BL subtext.

Similar fighting evil, supernatural, and rage against the machine themes with BL subtext (or more in the case of Ling Qi) and friendship mixed in.

In Ling Qi there is the head of a known exorcist family and in Noragami there is a not so well known god. These two won't work alone and will solve all the problems and fights alone, because they work with a spirit they have chosen. In Ling Qi the spirit is despite his age almost as immature as the young spirit in Noragami. Both anime deals between all the tasks and fighting scenes also about the relationship between those two, the spirit and exorcist/god.

It has ancient and supernatural elements to it. The characters are great, the development feels natural, and the plot is entertaining.

These are both BL Chinese fantasy shows. The main pairing has a similar feel in how only one is mortal and seems icy at first, while the other is a supernatural being who comes off more innocent and childish. The relationship starts off on a bad foot but they quickly soften towards each other. Ling Qi is set in a more modern world with magic. In contrast, Tian Bao Fuyao Lu is in a fully fantasy setting in another world. Tian Bao Fuyao Lu (despite being cgi) has much better art if that is important to you. However, season 2 of Ling Qi does look better  read more

They're both gay, okay? Not gonna lie. That's why I'm recommending it.

Some of the supernatural elements and relationships and the shounen-ai feeling of the two series are the same.

Both these anime have a contracted master-servant relationship with shounen-ai overtones.

- In both stories, the main characters descend from an ancient persona. - We have spirits and characters with supernatural powers. - There is some light action and fighting to protect something/someone. - Part of the drama (if not all) revolves around overcoming the past. - There is romance (although Hiiro no Kakera is shoujo). Overall, the way the story is set is pretty similar.
