I just wanted to recommend Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. It's a short anime with less than 5 minute episodes, but I do think it's a very good one. Now, I will explain why I want to recommend Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki to anyone who has watched Monster Musume. Both are, of course, ecchi stories with a shota main character; there's a tiny bit of harem in Kiitaro but I wouldn't say it's as dominant as it is in Monster Musume. Both anime feature a cast of different extraordinary monster (I can't really call those cuties "monsters",  read more

Shounen no Youkai is an ecchi comedy strongly inspired by Natsume Yuuijinchou, which is far more serious. In both anime, a teen with the ability to see youkai assembles a group of them around himself. In Shounen no Yokai it just happens that they resemble the stereotypical harem of sexy girls. Occasionally you see shots which are pretty much taken from Natsume one-to-one, e.g. when the MC is sick and the harem gathers at his bed.

They are both shows, that are about a boy and all the different Yo-Kai that he meets, while having a more comedic, Slice-of-Life tone. Yo-Kai Watch has a style more similar to Pokemon and other shows like that and runs for three segments per episode. Kiitaro is much shorter, but the Yo-Kai feel more "realistic" than in Yo-Kai Watch and it feels more like a Slice-of-Life show.
