Honestly, if you're a girl who identifies as a fujoshi then finding a guy who identifies as a fudanshi is like rare! So to find a short form that literally makes that fantasy a reality is great! Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu was such a hidden gem and I loved it. 10/10 Recommend for all fujoshi or fudanshi out there.

Similarities: -Short episodes -Quirky and fun -BL themes -Crossdressing -Light, bright colour pallet (more so in Himegoto but both are nice) -Easy to get hooked on (and quick to finish) -Fairly nice OST (the Fudanshi OP is one of my favourites) -Male protagonists embracing commonly feminine interests

Fudanshi and Kachou no Koi are about boys that claim they are not gay while being obsessed with stereotypically gay things. Both shows are short, quirky, and very funny.

Not only are they both short anime, that you can quickly finish, they both deal with high school boys and the topic of boys love in a comedic way.

They are both situational type of comedy and slice of life series about daily life of high school boys. The difference is, Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu focuses on very specific situation as a comedy source as Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is about nothing and everything.

Cheerful, mini comedy series involving characters working with manga related subjects. Full of fangirl/fanboy acting, as both group of friends are, of course, manga fans. Also, there is doujinshi/ manga making process mentioned and related stuff, as cosplay, buying manga and merch, etc.

The hardship of yaoi fans and similar really light and funny slice of life.
