Synopsis

Living an abnormal existence in Ogikubo, an intergalactic melting pot of humans and aliens as well as the only Space Immigration Zone on Earth, Luluco is a bubbly middle school girl who just wants to be normal. One morning, however, her father, who works at the Space Patrol, eats a volatile sleep capsule by mistake and is frozen solid! To make matters worse, Luluco accidentally breaks him, so she hurries off to his office for help. There, the chief of the Space Patrol, Over Justice, hires Luluco as a space temp worker for undercover investigations, so that the institution may crack down on crime within her school.

Made to don the Space Patrol suit and sent on her way to mete out justice, Luluco attempts to maintain the image of a normal girl who does not stand out in any way. But she soon discovers that with the automatic systems and inherently zealous judiciousness of the Space Patrol suit, continuing to be normal will be more difficult than she thought.

There’s one word that perfectly captures this mini-show: goofy—in the best possible way. Considering each episode being about 6 minutes.

Sure, the characters aren’t that deep, the plot is simple, and the budget seems low, but that’s exactly what makes this show so enjoyable. It embraces its silliness with confidence, delivering a lighthearted experience that’s perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The fast-paced storytelling works to its advantage. Without the burden of a complex story or heavy lore, it’s incredibly easy to dive in and enjoy every moment. You don’t need to think too hard—just sit back and have fun.

The episode featuring Inferno Cop is arguably ...

Mixed Feelings
If there’s a common thread that connects all of Trigger’s vastly different shows, it’s the theme of triumphant individualism. The spirit driving this studio is a spirit that values what the individual can accomplish with their own unique talents, both in terms of the characters within the story and the people making the shows themselves. Trigger heroes will rise above adversity and stake their claim upon the world, refusing to be tied down by any system and charting their own blazing path through the universe. Meanwhile, the animators and directors bringing their story to life are allowed to go as hog-wild with creative ideas and ...

A series of 5 minute webisodes (not including intro and outro). All flash and no substance. This anime is hyper-kinetic and loud and seemed more like adverts than anything else. There are a lot of bright colours but not much else, everything seems put there just to get your attention. It has no substance, I wanted it to make me laugh, but there was nothing there that even made me grin. If you like fast talking characters that make no sense then this is for you, if you're looking for feels or laughs you won't fine them here. The art is good, the colours ...
