Recommendations

Two slice of life comedies on an animal having been picked up by a family (a cat in Poyopoyo and a seal in Ashibe) and their everyday life living there. Although the main characters in both differ in age hence showing different academic age groups in the shows, the hyperactiveness of the fun the characters have in both are similar. The demographics of both may differ between the two but there is a lot of fun to be had with what their cute animal main characters get up to in both shows.

Both are adorable animes that are around the same time length of 9 minutes, and have plenty of comedy, but Goma has more of a Slice-of-Life theme to it, and Luluco having more of a action-supernatural feel to it.

Short episodes of kid's slice-of-life, with sea life that's really spending way too much time on land. Goma-chan lets the humans do the talking, though the seal himself is just as intelligent, if not more so, than Ashibe and his grade school friends. He's certainly more sensible than Tendou-sensei, but that's not saying much. Bonobono lives in a world devoid of humans, so animals talk and fill the roles of both the children and the adults. In both, the children are relatively normal, questioning the world around them and life in general, with answers sometimes found by themselves and sometimes  read more
