Berserk

They gonne berserk and kill demons. And very bad past 

Both have a medival badass rampaging around, they also both contain alot of blood and violence. Both are a good watch and share common links 

If you like Goblin slayer you will probably like Berserk as well. Both have some pretty dark moments and are basically about combating evil. The main characters are both clad in armor and both let there fighting do the talking. While you may start watching berserk and notice that Guts is not as scarred as Goblin Slayer, I would just say watch the first season and then you will see where I am coming from. Without trying to spoil berserk in any way I will just say that by berserk season 2, Guts is a lot more like Goblin slayer in many ways. If you have not seen berserk, it is a must watch and you will most likely get drawn into the Manga as I did.  read more 

- Both series are sitting in fantasy worlds where there are Knights and is used Magic. - Both main characters are related to demons and have big massive sword. - Both main characters are rivals with their best friend, but in Berserk it's more like hatred, but in both they are related through their past. 

Both shows have got a simple minded male MC. Their social skills aren't the best but they have the charisma to make them the leaders of their group. Also, both shows are dark and have got a lot of gore. 

Psychological 'horrors' that serve as character studies of devastated men out for revenge. Between Guts, Griffith and Isidro, and Tenma, Johan and Dieter, I see essentially no difference. 

The stories follow two men who must travel a fantasy world fighting demons to rescue the woman they love. Also, these both are the pinnacle of Quality Animation! 

If you like messed up shit and revenge, this is it. The story is a lot more developed but unfortunately it becomes an never ending series. 

That ending looks oddly familiar, they both involve demons and sex  

Both have gruff badass swordsmen who are even drawn similar enough to be brothers. Similar adult themes and general dark tone. 

If your looking for something of the same quality of work I recommend watching the CGI Berserk.  

Extremely gruesome ending 

Both are dark animes that focus on the main character's journey for revenge. Both have medieval/fantasy elements as well, with Dororo taking place in Japan and Berserk taking place in Europe. The biggest difference between the two is probably the art style; Berserk has a more detailed and realistic art style, while Dororo's art style is simpler but still very effective nonetheless. 

Both of these anime feature an epic and dramatic story centered around two deep and well developed characters. Among these characters I found Griffith from Berserk and Reinhard from LOTGH to be very similar, both being young feminine looking men with dangerously grand ambitions, strategic genius, and subversive ideas. They also each share a distinct tone in their storytelling which can best be described as poetic. This poetic aspect overlays the constant brutal battles that drive each of these anime and creates an unsettling but engaging contrast. I think that anyone who is willing to overlook the shift in scenery and time period will appreciate one series if they did the other. read more 

Devilman is the father of dark seinen manga, a lot of Berserk's DNA can be traced back here. Its a great story about the darkness within every man, and any Berserk fan owes it to themselves to check out this classic.  

Fullmetal Alchemist is little a bit different than Berserk but both are dark and masterpiece anime of all time. But Berserk is an horror and bloodshedding, dark fantasy anime. The leading character of Berserk is Guts and the leading character of Fullmetal Alchemist is Edward Eric. Watch the anime and find more about the anime.  

I would suggest something like Berserk (manga and anime) if you liked Bastard!! Both are really good seinens in my opinion. The art (even tho not as detailed and more so talking about the anime) - it reminds me of Berserk, along with just the world this is set in. However the characters relationship reminds me more of Inuyasha with Kagome haha.  

The two series doesn't have the same chemistry but they do share the same doing. Both Protagonist is fighting against evil supernatural creatures and sometimes they have to suffer though alot to destory their enemies. 

Berserk is by far the best anime that I have ever seen. Nothing even comes close to capturing the interest of the viewer and holding it tightly throughout the ten hour duration of this masterpiece. Firstly, I must admit that it has its flaws, such as a few points of lazy animation, as in some of the battle scenes, as well as the somewhat disappointing ending, which leaves the viewer thirsting for more without the promise of any follow-up. Yet the fact of the matter is, and I speak for myself, that the positive aspects of Berserk outweigh the bad so drastically one cant help but overlook them in terms of the entire film. The frequent sub-par visuals mean nothing in comparison to the amazing plot depth and beautiful character development marbled throughout the film. In summary, Berserk is a ten hour mini-series that consists of 25 20+ minute episodes detailing the life of a rogue swordsman named Guts. Guts, in short, is simply the most intriguing fictional character ever constructed. Guts, first of all, is one of the finest examples of an individual driven entirely by self preservation and improvement. Throughout the series Guts grows stronger and more deadly before our eyes, with each thrust of his massive sword. The personal relationships that he develops over time, especially with Griffith and Caska, are totally believable and honest. In particular, the love/hate relationship that Guts has with Caska sucks the viewer into their world and with each episode end leaves you literally thirsting for more. I can honestly say that I had never so anxiously awaited a release as I did with each progressing volume. The score, other than being entirely redundant, creates an additional emotional appeal that quite literally leaves a mark in your mind. The opening theme song, although an acquired taste, becomes somewhat of a necessity to mark the beginning of each additional episode that will bring you deeper into the world of Guts and the Band of the Hawk. In no time at all you find yourself singing along with it as if it were a top forty tune. The climactic theme played every 3 episodes or so, is absolutely haunting, leading one to wonder how it came to be included in an anime. Berserk is a definite must-see for all fans of anime. For those who dislike anime or are indifferent to it, the mediocre visuals may tarnish your opinion of it, yet the rock solid plot and character depth with leave you amazed.  read more 

It's something about the corruption of innocence that always drags to me the question, what would happen had they gone any other route but the one lead ahead by their natural fate. Berserk and Jormungand has a promising showcase of the youthful parent/child relationship if you were to ask me. The accomplishes these kids are fated with are only meant to prepare them for the biggest decisions they have to make going down the line of their journey.  

An adaptation that had potential but is a mix of greatness and fail. Both failed at being faithful to their source material, since Berserk feels like a half-edgy shounen when it's one of the best dark fantasy seinen, and Terraformars lost the horror factor. Berserk condenses too much material while Terraformars is too dragged out, and both end of course incomplete. The fighting feems campy, as intended for Terraformars, but not in the original Berserk, and there is in particular a recurring sound effect of a punch getting sucked into void for Terraformars and the Dragonslayer hitting like a fry pan in Berserk... Watch only for some cool moments, but read the source material. read more 

Both shows are filled with gore and dark themes. While their main characters differ from each other, they have at least one thing in common - they are fighting with monsters threatening regular humans. Also, these two animes' art and animation strongly rely on CGI. 

A strong male lead that never capitulates to his enemies. He finds a group of people he can rely on and eventually fights for. Guin takes on the burden of this story's heroine as a current paradigm shift happens within the context of the story. Guin happens to be one of the only reliable characters in the show and likewise. Is a paragon that others flock to, to get their problems fixed. Give it a watch.  

I chose this Berserk in particular because like Alicization, it is most interesting for me. This one is where Guts chases after Griffith and plows over demons. I think there was the Rape Horse scene which triggers people. You get to see Guts go crazy here with the Black Sword and if that wasn't enough, there are some bloody mutilation scenes where man have lost their humanity and are monsters deserved to be slain. 

Both have one who wants to become king, and when he gets his goal turns from evil 

Both are classic shows and deal with old fashioned politics and themes of war. Berserk however is told from a completely different perspective and has a lot of supernatural elements involved. 

Medieval setting, monsters, humans fighting like they never have before, it's all there 

Both involves male bad ass characters whom were out to fight evil supernatural forces 

Nearly the same adventure, action fantasy genre, where in involves warriors whom were duking out with other warriors from different group, the differences was Berserk was more of a reboot from the 1990's version, while F/A was more like a spin off of Fate/ stay night. 

In the aspect that the protagonist both have "trails" in their experiences that each has to go through. You personally might disagree but this is more so on a wide and vague way. Overall, a similar theme of perseverance though fate and destiny. 

Both are dark fantasies with badass Protagonists that fight god awful cgi monsters that are so bad looking that its laughable.
