-Both do their best to hit every cliche ever -Obligatory fanservice every episode -Characters are similar

Both shows are action focused with supernatural elements. Both feature an underground criminal world connected to the supernatural as the setting. Both have ecchi elements, though significantly more in Strike the Blood than in Taboo Tatoo.

Similar plot with intense story line.

Both anime are tagged as Supernatural,Comedy and Action.BSD's main character Atsushi has one of the most wanted super powers just like Seigi in Taboo Tattoo.Although the supporting characters are really different, the MCs are almost the same:both had a sorrowful past and both are trying to get stronger, since the lives of the ones they love may be in danger. Both shows share some strange comedy and pretty much the same course of action, since the both MCs encounter their future affiliated party because of their super powers

If you enjoed FLCL aka Fooly Cooly then this anime will be a heaven. They don't share anything just the feeling "what's happening?" both series has no meaning or reason to exist. But they are also a good time waste! Oh yeah there's also a girl who will be beside the protagonist by doing absolutely nothing.

The principle of psychics. While the tattoos also have some of the same qualities as some in Toaru Majutsu no Index

In Taboo Tattoo, people are connected through the tattoos. In Kill la Kill, people are connected through clothing made with life fibers. Both offer forms of enhanced power and allow the users to use special weapons and or powers such as making a void. They are both packed with exciting action and have their ups and downs in the story. Overall, both of them are great animes and I would highly recommend them.

Taboo Tattoo and Big Order are both anime series where the protagonist has an overpowered ability, which is triggered by the marking on the palm of his hand. In each series there is a new student who is a complete bad ass. In each series, she has insanely good combat skills, and basically tries to kill the main character in episode one. She also has a power that is somewhat similar to the main character's, but less overpowered. The characters are also being hunted by a different country's government. In each series one of the main characters is forced to work with the other one,  read more

-Both MCs are school students who got involved in the world where only certain people have different super powers. -They got one of the most powerful powers. -If you liked Nao Tomori from Charlotte, then you might like Izzie from Taboo Tattoo too.

Someone on the forums just pointed out to me how similar these series were. Sure, the setting is completely different, but -Both have cookie-cutter protagonists that are frustrating to watch -Both use most of their budget on fighting and fanservice -Both have catchy opening themes -Both have considerably large amounts of bloodshed -Both are about a group of people banded together through some sort of power (Tatoos, Imperial Arms)
