Someone on the forums just pointed out to me how similar these series were.
Sure, the setting is completely different, but
-Both have cookie-cutter protagonists that are frustrating to watch
-Both use most of their budget on fighting and fanservice
-Both have catchy opening themes
-Both have considerably large amounts of bloodshed
-Both are about a group of people banded together through some sort of power (Tatoos, Imperial Arms)
