I loved Code Geass, and I found myself getting that specific codegeassfeel during the second season of Owari no Seraph. I gotta say, you might want to skip trough the episodes of the first season (except episode one) of OnS, because before ep.10, s1 most of the plot is not very spectacular I guess..However, S2 definitely rocks big time. Here is why: - two guys who were childhood friends end up on opposites site of a battle ( Lelouch/Suzaku...) - seems like everyone wants to rule the world. It's all about power and influence at some point. - great fighting scenes, plenty of action, plenty of interesting strategies/can't  read more

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR BOTH* There's a lot of similar themes like existentialism, found family, human experimentation, achieving "the end", characters with extremely dubious motives, Biblical references (angels, demons, apocalypse)...NGE is more on the psychological/disturbing side while Seraph of the End has the more typical Shonen action themes.

Both shows are sequels to two of Wit Studio's biggest works. Each show picks up right where the previous season ended. Humanity is on the brink of extinction in each show. Titans have almost devoured all of humanity in Attack on Titan. While in Seraph of the End vampires have almost wiped out humanity. Each show has giant monsters that humanity has to take out, although they are not the main threat in Seraph of the End. The main character in both shows has a mentality of wiping out all of the enemies because they killed his family. The main character can also transform into  read more

A medieval world with dragons, magic, and eternal life subject mentioned. Brave characters, adventure, orphan children. Both movies show the evil side of humanity and have a similar soundtrack and scenary.

This anime shows the realities of war and has the same concept "no matter where you go there is no paradise, you can only try to protect the ones you love. It is much more impactful, and everything affects the main cast as well as the side character making it much more engaging. In Owari, no seraph everything impacts the side characters, not the main cast. The great thing about either six is the main cast does not have plot armor and doesn't recklessly charge into battle like Yu-chan. The stakes are always high, and the despair and realistic elements never cease to affect them  read more

Both Are about scenarios where humanity has been devastated by a mysterious plague. During the chaos vampires come out of hiding and take control of most if not all of the world and enslaves the human populous.

Both series are about humans vs. "monster" (ghouls in Tokyo Ghoul, vampires in Owari no Seraph). Both are very violent, bloody and kind of emotional/pshichological. Both have the same number of episodes, 2 Seasons of 12 episodes and will probably have a 3rd Season in the future In both anime the main charachter at the beggining is a normal boy that as a transformation (Kaneki as half-ghoul, Yuu as deamon weapon) In both the humans are the weak ones so they use other things to fight (quinque in Tokyo Ghoul, deamon weapons in Owari no Seraph) Both main charachters find a new "family" and have to safe their best friend  read more

-The Battle Between Vampire And Human Beings in the anime is similar to the battle of ghouls and investigators on tokyo ghoul. -Yu and kaneki has the same type of protecting their Comrades. -The Ghouls Eat Humans to get stronger while Vampires drink human's blood to grow, So more i think that's the same. -The two animes has alot of strong characters especially the main character. -Kaneki doesn't want to eat humans and he just ate Jason to get stronger at the same time, Mikaela too doesn't want too drink humans blood nor vampires and he just gets blood from krul.

Both are about the hero of a people. Both have the adventure feel. Both have wonderful art. Both are fantastic. The two are about fighting and in a group of people, and have nice action. Assets may vary from one to another, modern times against middle-age.

- Both about vampire world setting - Both have similiar battle scene - Both about human-vampire relation conflict - Naively straightforward MC that don't like complicated conflict - Yuichiro x Mikaela relation similiar to Kuro x Mahiru
