-The Battle Between Vampire And Human Beings in the anime is similar to the battle of ghouls and investigators on tokyo ghoul.
-Yu and kaneki has the same type of protecting their Comrades.
-The Ghouls Eat Humans to get stronger while Vampires drink human's blood to grow, So more i think that's the same.
-The two animes has alot of strong characters especially the main character.
-Kaneki doesn't want to eat humans and he just ate Jason to get stronger at the same time, Mikaela too doesn't want too drink humans blood nor vampires and he just gets blood from krul.
