2nd season of Haikyuu and Diamond no Ace. Both of these anime have similarities in their main themes: teamwork, cooperation and friendship in a sport team. As well as intense and exciting moments.

-Not just back to back games/tournaments, also includes team-building and teamwork -Same person that made the script -You feel at kin with many characters, you can relate to a lot of the characters

The season 1 are a good introduction to this story, but in season 2 things get more interesting, from their character development, the character relationships, the direction of the anime as well. Also there's new interesting characters that you're gonna love for sure

The team evolves and works togethor to overcome the enemy teams. You become emotionally attached to the characters because of their effort. The enemies are quite likeable too. If you liked Diamond no ace you will probably like haikyuu. Watch the 1st season first , it didn't let me recommend the 1st season. Have fun!

They're quite similar because of the atmosphere it's giving, calm, friendly and sometimes tense. It has -Sports of course but Basketball -Comedy and puns, different character personality -There's also challenges they have to face, it does not focus entirely on being an overpowered team -Main character is also small c;

It is the same show lol. I just needed to put something in order to recommend it. This anime is one of my favorites and it never fails to make me laugh. It has a good balance of its action scenes with its comedy/slice of life ones. I never got bored watching it.

Chihayafuru and Haikyuu!! are both great sport anime that maintain high tension throughout the episodes and seasons. They both make you cheer for the teams that strive for victory. The emphasis on teamwork and little friendship dramas are similar too. While Haikyuu!! has more of a comedic style, Chihayafuru has a little bit more romantic elements.

Both are about becoming a functional team and becoming stronger individually to improve the whole team. Both depict different character types acting in team environment and solving problems. Both are sport related anime. The main characters (Kageyama from Haikyuu and Kakeru from Kaze ga tsuyoku fuiteiru) are similar in mentality and dealing with problems and they both involve as characters throughout the series.
