Juushin Enbu: Hero Tales

According to the stars, if you like one you might like the other. Humor aside, both of these series deal with fated heroes who have their fates predetermined in some manner yet the journey they go through is far from what they expected. The detail on the clothing, albeit more detailed in one series and then the other, is aesthetically pleasing. 

Both are set in ancient china and feature martial arts action. Kingdom has more focus more on war strategy 

same thing super strong people fighting for the fate of the world with bits of comedy.  

Both carry out in much the same fashion. The protagonist traveling to a big city to face a man of similar martial arts power, all the while stopping at smaller towns along the way and dealing with the smaller side effects of his enemy's tyranny. Both series are martial arts centric, with battle auras. And most of all... both series deal with the fate of the characters and how it is aligned with the Big Dipper.  

these two anime are similar by they both impending doom and if you like swords and a small romance plot to the side with samurai 

Both are set in ancient china and feature martial arts action. Both feature some political struggles that go on during that time. 

The "villain" in each series has a goal of creating their own empire by conquering the land and defeating those who stand in the way. Both series have a martial arts heavy plot and characters that believe in destiny. 

Hero tales seems to be pretty unique in its portrayal of martial arts so the closest i could find was kenichi. the only differences would be the ecchi side and the fact that kenichi has no actual fantasy side to it. 

Well, they aren't all that similar in their plots or details, just the fact that they both have action and are shounen. The reason why I recommend watching Juushin Enbu if you like FMA though, or vice versa, is because both are created by Hiromu Arakawa. So if you like one of her creations, you'll probably like the other. 

Jyuushin Enbu and Yuu Yuu Hakusho both portray martial arts in cool fictional fashions. Yuu Yuu Hakusho focuses on spirit energy, whereas Jyuushin Enbu focuses on Souhiki Naiden (called something like that, I probably screwed the name up though.) 

Well, both animes are a lot alike in different ways. First off, they present the action and martial arts in a very cultural and authentic manner with Hero Tales being more Chinese with the Kung Fu, and with Flame of Recca being more "ninja" with the action. They also have interesting principles of how they use their techniques and how they can make them very distinctive from one another. Both rely on semi-belivable agility and technique, and also have that team gimmick where each member has a typical personality and their own individual gimmick as well as their own personal contributions to how they stand out in the teams. read more
