I had never read a blog, not even outside of MAL so it was just by chance. You just felt an urge to express yourself and that is fine, I'm busy right now with Med... but some other time I will come by to annoy you because it seems that I like the way you write and according to MAL we share tastes.

The funny thing with Ippo is that the writer tried REALLY hard to give all of Ippo's opponents background and sympathy so they wouldn't be jerks with no personality like Clubber Lang or Ivan Drago from the Rocky movies. However, when all of Ippo's opponents have more noble goals than Ippo and Ippo never even offers to help it actually DOES make Ippo look like a prick. In Dragonball, there is the Indian Fighter Namu who wanted to win the world martial arts tournament so he could buy water for his village. However, Roshi gave him a capsule and all the water he needed after he lost. Ippo would have simply let the village die without even considering offering some of his prize money or endorsement money...just like poor Volg's mother. The writer unintentionally made Ippo into a total asshole!

So, here I am, after reading your wall of text and feeling happy for your open minded point of view. I decided to come over here just to say that I like the way you write and the content inside the text. Although for some reason I picked a bit of sadness between lines, hope it's just me.

To give you some feedback I think both in english and spanish, I don't really care which one is my native language I can introspect myself in any of those. You are probably aware of that but your second or third paragraph made me think you are not quite there.

I would love to end this with a third language but sadly I'm learning japanese and I'm not adept enough at portuguese, french or german either (and I still make mistakes in english).

I'm not gonna take anything away from your School Days review, cos each to their own.

But I would sum up the School Days characters like this:

Makoto becomes a man whore, the schoolgirls are sluts. Kotonoha goes from shy to the point of where she snaps and Makoto's friend....slut xD

I assume that once I watch Clannad I'll have to watch Clannad: After Story. So there will be more, comrade.
