If you liked Brave Police J-Decker for the robots, you might like Iron Leaguer as well. They are both Sunrise animations, and robots are the main characters as well. The main difference is
A: Iron Leaguer is a sports anime
B: Iron Leaguer robots look a little more like mascot characters and are smaller in size
But they have a pretty similar tone, and a lot of episodes can range from sillier to more serious, similar to Brave Police J-Decker. 
Also they both have fantastic openings
