The story is from the same creator. Natsu and Haru, Ellie and Lucy, Gray and Musica are very alike. Both involve talking creatures. Both involve magic. Both involve dragons as well. Pluu is involved in both animes. And much more x3

Both have the same creator. Characters, story and style are very similar. If you love one you'll like the other.

Guy and girl travel around with a cute little bear companion. Difference? Rather than trying to save the world, girl is trying to destroy the world.

In both shows the weapon make the hero. Both MCs have weapons with special powers which make them special too. They fight against "evil" to protect those they care about.

I have noticed a lot of similarities between these two series. I only listed a few but I'm sure you'll understand once you watch it! - Both based around an adventure setting - Both are about fighting for what's right and protecting your comrades at all cost - Both female leads and male leads have close relationships (so they're not reverse-harem) - Both about embarking long journeys around the world, to gather life changing things (RAVE stones and, Dragon Warriors) - Similarities between Knights of the Blue Sky and the Dragon Warriors - Both female leads are physically and mentally vulnerable but have the tendency to be strong-willed  read more

The main female characters of these series (Ellie in Groove Adventure Rave and Isanami in Brave 10) have the same happy-go-lucky personality yet share a dark secret

I dun really noe how to say it but in a way Haru is similar to Ueki and both shows have a mix of comedy and action which i feel was very interesting. I also feel that in both shows the protagonists' fathers both have an important role .Also they have interesting ways to fight, you simply just cant ignore

I began to watch Groove Adventure Rave (Rave Master) shortly after DBZ, they are both fun animes with tense battles and interesting characters. If your looking for action and drama similar to that of DBZ, Rave Master is a great choice

Zetsuen no Tempest anime is similar to Rave (MANGA) regarding those time travels especially the epic Seighart moment which is only shown in the manga of Rave. I can't compare manga to manga as I haven't read the manga of Zetsuen no Tempest so there you have it, but upon reading some news/discussions that the anime of Zetsuen no Tempest is faithful to the manga except the ending is slightly different then it could be assumed the same.

The main character format: Cocky, naive, coming-of-age young male lead - Haru / Van Amnesia, suspended in long sleep, young female lead - Elie / Fiona Streetwise criminal type who sticks around for unknown reason - Musica / Irvine (and sort of Moonbay) Rare/unique mascot creature that is marvelled at, important to adventure - Plue / Zeke

If You watch closely the storylines are similiar. The main character is male who is fighting against an Evil organization. Both have aquaintences whom don't always travel with them. And In the Good group there's a character who looks cool with a bad past. Musica in RaVe and Sven.
