Majin Bone

Similarities: Both have the same fighting art form. Both have the same kind of kind of people who fight in special mech suits. Both have the same kind of main character who are high school students. Both have the same situation where the public is in danger. Dissimilarities: One involves a group of antagonists, while in the other anime there is only one main antagonist. The main character in one anime has a childhood friend, while the other doesn't. One anime was based on a card game while the other was based from a 1970's version.  

Both main characters are subjected to an other worldly being encounter that turns them into a hero. They as well try to keep it a secret from their close friends and/or family. Both main characters have a parent distanced from them in outer space. Both of the main characters have a strong will and determination to fight to protect. Both series have beings from another world come and antagonize the earth. 

The character designs for both series are very similar. Even the mech suits have a similar feeling too. Majin Bone is basically Gaist Crusher turned High School instead of Middle School. Elemental powers such as Fire, Wind, Earth, and Ice etc are here. The main characters look exactly the same.  

-Both have heroes/villains fighting with CGI power suits -Both have a reckless/straightforward MC paired with a serious/calculating Teamate. A difference is the MC is T&B has had his power for a long time while Majin Bone MC just gained them.
