Nekketsu Mecha Adventures with mega cosmic battles ! Both anime are some of the more NEKKETSU ever made !  

Both shows are great fast-paced fantasy comedies with a male-female pair of main characters. Both also have video game-inspired visual and narrative features, and each also feature a quickly-moving plot that sees our protagonists visiting lots of different locations. 

Wataru Ikusabe and Lamune Baba are both the main protagonists. They both pilot robots. Wataru piloted Ryujinmaru and Lamune piloted King Sccasher. They are both sent to another world. Wataru is sent to Soukaizan and Lamune is sent to Hara Hara world. The villains that they fought are brainwashed by the main antagonists which are both voiced by Shouzou Iizuka. 

The characters are both designed by Takehiko Itou. They are both mecha anime. They are both adventurous adventurous comedies.
