ladies as the main character that let NO MAN tell them wat to do, and they show something alright 80´s style.Wether its fight like an chosen warrior(lemnear) or just destroying stuff cuz u want to for a kiddy reason(outlanders) and the best of it is the funny stuff!

The main heroines of these anime are extremely comparable in terms of bravery and choice of attire since they share similar old school high fantasy design philosophy and art direction of badass female warriors in bikini armors surmounting difficult hurdles to attain their goals.

Both anime are about a somewhat dim-witted irresponsible main character who has the princess of another planet after them, whose father is hell-bent on destroying the human race. Both are good ol 80s style, but you will find that outlanders is definitely the abridged version of Captain Tylor. If you like space drama action then definitely check it out!

I feel like Outlanders may have been based on this show as there is a similar situation between a green haired girl (with horns) who wants to marry the main male character. The two female leads of these anime are both voiced by Fumi Hirano. Urusei Yatsura, however, spans 195 episodes, 6 movies, 11 ovas, (all airing from 1981-1991) and now recently a new Ova from the Rumic World 50th Anniversary, so there's a lot more you need to cover in this anime.

Short OVA series about a badass alien girl who has to stick around with a geeky human boy.

The animation is pretty similar. Part from that it is a action packed anime with some nudity and a good portion of comedy, the story isn't very similar. Outlanders is Sci fi and Devil Hunter Yohko is Fantasy, though they fight with swords and don't seem to use very high-tec items in Outlanders. The only thing that makes Outlanders sci fi is the space travel, pretty much.

Both have same/similar art style and plot of guy meeting girl from another world [and falling in love].
