In both you have kids (or at least young adults) who embark on a journey to find something that doesn't have to fall in the wrong hands. The kids/young adults are chased by a shady organization and a bunch of carefree sky pirates, and are descendants of important people.

A mix of historical themes with modern issues. The Daughter of 20 Faces is set solely in the recent past, while Galilei Donna is more sci-fi fantasy, seemingly set in the present or near future, with many references to the distant past. Both are good stories mainly about risky adventure, and searching for a series of important items, all the while in constant dangers of being shot at by being everyone's enemies.

In both anime the main characters are descendants of a famous historical figure. There is a lot of action because the main characters are sought after because of their heritage. Also, both anime have a delicious loli.
