Both are short anime which focus on a main protagonist reminiscing about their past while doing their daily activities. Both have a very similar atmosphere and give off a very similar nostalgic feeling, which makes the two anime quite similar.

While their length is different, both anime focus on a young mother who is facing the troubles of raising children. Both have a similar atmosphere and a very nostalgic feeling.

Nostalgic little adverts for comfort foods that reminds one of days gone by.

(As Ghibli ga Ippai is collection of anime, this recommendation is only for House Foods Ouchi de Tabeyou part) Both are short anime with episodes under two minutes. Both are more of a food commercial and both feature family and kids. Both have similar animation and both were made by famous studio (Studio 4°C/Studio Ghibli). Hitotsubu ni Kawaranu Ai wo Komete is more slice of life.

Both are short, under two minute long anime that are more of a food commercial. While Hitotsubu ni Kawaranu Ai wo Komete is ONA, Hoka Hoka Oden no Uta is a music video.
