Cute comedies with short episodes about food-cat hybrids.

Both animes are about supernatural cat-like creatures in the human world, except Nyanbo are block cats, and Donyatsu persists of animal pastry creatures (but mainly cats). The graphics are very similar, using a realistic background, with 3D catroonish characters, though Nyanbo gives more background info in the anime, while Donyatsu would require reading the manga in order to understand the series more

Donyatsu and Afro-ken are about 3-D silly looking pets having fun adventures. They are both comedies and great for kids!

The journey of animals trying to discover and search about the things of the actual society. Nyanko Days has a bigger approach with humans than Donyatsu.

Two episodic animes showing cute animals living their daily life with some comic situations, giving a warmful feeling.

The art style is a bit similar but, it's funnier. Has a bit less of these cuteness vibes than Summikko Gurashi.

Aside from the cute Mascot character look and the short episode time, both anime feature a very similar style of more mature humor.
