Taking place in a school setting, both series involves a group of young girls as part of a club with a passion for airsoft gun activities. The main female character share some similarities in their insecurity about themselves. However, their lives change dramatically one day after becoming a member of a club; one that specializes in survival games. Sabagebu has more of an episodic format while Stella C3 has a storyline involving rivalries and competitions. Nonetheless, both series builds no the foundation of action girls using guns. Recommended for viewers interested in lighthearted action-comedy.

The setting for these two anime are very similar, revolving around school-based gun battles. Stella Academy has a slightly lighter feel to it because it doesn't feel as serious because the use of air-soft but the feel of the battle excitement were the same or even better. The focus was on teamwork, tactics and STYLE. On the stylish movie type moves and exciting stunt-like teamwork and tactics. Besides the gun and school setting the animes also share the humorous feel to it. Moreso I'd say in Stella Academy because of clash of a general view that such air-softers are too hardcore and a bit weird compared  read more

Girls school setting with some combat scenarios. I think both are worth watching, but I'll leave that up to you. Please don't confuse this with Upotte!! though. Besides the firearms, the similarities are few and far between.

Similar characters and similar club activities.

There is a military influence on the two; the characters in Soranowoto are soldiers, while the characters in Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu compete in military survival games. Both focus on a group of young girls after a new member joins. I feel like the two have a similar vibe mainly because they are centered around a main character, who from the start has promise but is clumsy and lost in her new environment, and viewers watch her slowly grow and understand herself, her abilities, and her place in the group throughout the anime.

I haven't seen this anime being recommended alongside YuruYuri's so I'll be recommending it; although not as yuri or shoujo-ai-ness, but Stella Jogakuin has the same girl-admiration-ness placed on its plot elements. Also, fans who enjoy YuruYuri and school-life as well as slice-of-life will find enjoyment on this anime.

"Stella Women's Academy, High School Division Class C³" / "Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu" and "Wish Upon the Pleiades" / "Houkago no Pleiades" are both slice-of-life series by Studio Gainax surrounding a group of young girls. The protagonists of the two shows have in common of being the newcomer to the group.

If you wish Yura's character had developed further than Kokoro Connect may be a good option (be sure to watch the extra episodes 14-17 too). In both shows the main female characters go through significant changes causing friendships to be strained. The ideas of forming an identity and personal empowerment are explored in each.

Both are about a group of girls hanging out with each other, -C3-bu with girls in a club for airsoft - Love Lab with girls researching on the topic of love C3-bu is a bit more serious while the latter is comedical

An interesting, yet slightly misguided in terms of execution, premise with delightful artwork. Mouretsu is more aware of what it strives to be, whereas Stella can't seem to make up its mind, and even with 12 episodes. Also, both titles boast very impressive visuals.

Both have similar art, a club doing some manly sport/hobby, and are set in an all-girls high school.

A group of people are part of the Survival Games club. They enter the Air-soft tournament to showcase their skills. One deals with a group of girls and some supernatural phenomenon. The other only men and bromance.

The activities may be different but the feelings are quite similar. In both series, there's a club involving a group of young girls doing an activity they enjoy in while excelling at them through practice, skill, and determination. The main female character becomes focused in the club and makes both friends as well as rivals throughout the series. The competition is fierce but at the same time, the characters often seems to have fun in a lighthearted atmosphere. There's comedy, drama, and some emotional factors later on as well.
