Two short pieces about soldiers at war. Buki yo Saraba features great animation, high tech war, and gives you a feeling that there is are some ideas and thoughts that people who made it were trying to give you, the viewer. Cat Shit One is more of a mindless action variety, CGI animated, featuring plushies with guns. Buki yo Saraba looks like it deals with some kind of a post apocalyptic civil war, while Cat Shit One looks more like the type of war western soldiers were experiencing at Middle East in recent years.

The final fight of "Expelled from Paradise" made me think of "Buki yo Saraba". In both anime, the events happen in deserted and almost ruined cities, and focus on a group of power suit-wearing individuals who are sent to fulfill a dangerous mission. Both create an overall similar mood and atmosphere.

"A Farewell to Arms" / "Buki yo Saraba" and "Halo Legends" each depict futuristic warfare in unique perspectives where elite soldiers are sent to remote locations to deal with emergency militarised situations.

Memories is best known for the short film Magnetic Rose, but Stink Bomb and Cannon Fodder are good short films even if they do not measure up to Magnetic Rose. Like Stink Bomb and Cannon Fodder, A Farewell to Arms is an anime short about warfare. Its animation is also very detailed like Magnetic Rose. You'd think this is the unofficial fourth film of Memories.
