Insane comedy, great characters, very funny and entertaining. As well as the similar subject matter, the comedy is also very exaggerated, and Ranpou ends up being even more exaggerated than Shouwa Ahozoushi. The biggest difference is that Shouwa Ahozoushi is episodic and Ranpou is two stories in one episode. Ranpou is also extremely good animation.

Basically the same thing: comedy with superheroes. Episode 11 of Doteraman also features a poster with Tanne and Yuka from Shouwa Ahozoushi Akanuke Ichiban. The main difference is that Shouwa Ahozoushi is much more exaggerated in its comedy.

While Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy has characters pretending to be superheroes, in Shouwa Ahozoushi the protagonist is one, but very dubious. Both anime with a beastly comedy idiot around superheroes.

Insanely wacky comedy with "Wtf" stuff happening. Papa to Odorou is more exaggerated and its comedy is dark humor, but it is similar to Shouwa Ahozoushi.

Senseless and exaggerated comedy. Chou Kuse ni Narisou is even more "Wtf" than Shouwa Ahozoushi, even though Shouwa Ahozoushi has a slightly more exaggerated comedy. But in the end, whenever I think of something similar to Chou Kuse ni Narisou, I remember the horse anime. Another thing is that both the protagonist of Chou Kuse ni Narisou and Yuka of Shouwa Ahozoushi, both fight. One of the only differences is that Chou Kuse ni Narisou is an anime that involves idols and Shouwa Ahozoushi "Super Heros" (it's not like Tanne is actually one, especially since the title of the anime is literally "The Most Sophisticated Idiot of  read more

Nonsensical, random comedy shows centering around boys, their high school life, the cute girls they pine on, and most importantly : their improbable ways to become the strongest guys around. Both feature aliens, sexual innuendos, and seem to reference each other (the "wanchu" thing). You have to watch them to believe them.
