Synopsis

Jack Knife Edge Town is as edgy as it sounds, and it's up to Inferno Cop to stop that edge from tearing his city apart. He's both law and outlaw, dispensing ungodly justice to evildoers like a candy machine. Lowlifes, gangsters, and even hellspawn all infest Inferno Cop's hunting ground, but that's the good news. The bad news? Prior to the story, his family was brutally murdered by Southern Cross, a shady organization that made the worst mistake imaginable by doing so. Now, Inferno Cop's limiters have been removed and his mercy rung more dry than the entrails of his victims.

Something is welling up in Inferno Cop's city, however, and soon he'll face the most daunting gauntlet of his life involving him literally falling into and escaping from Hell. A flaming head won't be enough to ward off the true evil that's rapidly approaching—Inferno Cop must call upon all his allies and his own wacky antics to conquer the trials that await him.

A truly unique mini-show featuring an undeniably cool and interesting main character, set against a backdrop of bizarre and unpredictable situations.

It’s important to keep in mind that this series is highly experimental and (probably) had the budget equivalent to a few cups of coffee. But if you’re okay with that, you’ll find it absolutely delightful to watch.

The art style—or rather, the animation—feels like they used Photoshop to transform still images of the characters, which adds to its quirky charm. On top of that, the majority of characters are voiced by the same VA, which somehow makes it even funnier.

The plot isn’t particularly deep or complicated, ...

Mixed Feelings
The idea of this show is a lot funnier than the show itself. It's a great response to 'what is the best studio trigger anime' but it isn't that fun to actually sit down and watch. It wears out it's welcome after the first couple episodes and after a while it's humour become largely unfunny at best and at it's worst point a bit uncomfortably racist.

It's not without charm though, the humour from the presentation of the show is probably its most enjoyable part, and its parody of the over the top action cop movies is fun at times. As a time capsule of a ...

as the first work of studio Trigger this a bad anime but some interesting ideas about this that doesn't make it a worthless crap.

Story : story is a simple one in here I was interested in the story until episode 3 and it got pretty boring after a while the jokes were not funny anymore and if the anime was 20 minutes per episode i would drop this.

Sound : the ending song was so catchy and was good the sound effects were probably being downloaded in a free website and the VA did a good job voicing every character in the show it reminded me ...

Welcome to the Triggerverse: Shared Universes in Anime

Welcome to the Triggerverse: Shared Universes in Anime

Shared universes are a long-standing tradition in American comics and now all the rage in movies, but relatively rare in anime and manga. This has made Space Patrol Luluco - a series that's combining Studio Trigger's various other series into a single story - all the more unusual and exciting.
