Computer Kakumei: Saikyou x Saisoku no Zunou Tanjou

"Computer Revolution: The Birth of the Most Powerful and Fastest Brains" / "Computer Kakumei: Saikyou x Saisoku no Zunou Tanjou" and "Hal" both involve artificial intelligence assisting people from minor everyday things to matters of importance involving life and death. However, the more prominent focus is on the interactions between a person and an artificial intelligence and the potential relations that could develop amidst their time together. These two slice-of-life works produced by Production I.G. also share similar character designs and a similar general art style, which of course are used to tell these respective stories that each send rather compelling messages. 

"Computer Revolution: The Birth of the Most Powerful and Fastest Brains" / "Computer Kakumei: Saikyou x Saisoku no Zunou Tanjou" and "Plastic Memories" involve futuristic societies where people are surrounded by androids with artificial intelligence. In their respective universes, each focuses on the various jobs and tasks that a robot can now do, the interactions between a person and an artificial intelligence in everyday life, and the possible relations that can develop between them over time. 

"Computer Revolution: The Birth of the Most Powerful and Fastest Brains" / "Computer Kakumei: Saikyou x Saisoku no Zunou Tanjou" and "663114" were both produced as a result of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. These two short pieces discuss the effects of the disaster as well as how people chose to respond to it and how they were influenced by it in the future in terms of their decisions. 

"Computer Revolution: The Birth of the Most Powerful and Fastest Brains" / "Computer Kakumei: Saikyou x Saisoku no Zunou Tanjou" and "Time of Eve" / "Eve no Jikan" focus on how society would function in a future where people are surrounded by artificial intelligence. In their respective universes, each shines a light on a competition between man and computer for jobs and tasks, the interactions between a person and an artificial intelligence in everyday life, and the possible relations that can develop between them over time. 

Both feature a brief "what if" story with a focus on a young adult female that is trying to become independent while also reconnecting with her family, as well as set in the near future with some cool developing technology cameos that blend into the everyday life.  

"Computer Revolution: The Birth of the Most Powerful and Fastest Brains" / "Computer Kakumei: Saikyou x Saisoku no Zunou Tanjou" and "Time of Eve" / "Eve no Jikan" focus on how society would function in a future where people are surrounded by artificial intelligence. In their respective universes, each shines a light on a competition between man and computer for jobs and tasks, the interactions between a person and an artificial intelligence in everyday life, and the possible relations that can develop between them over time. 

-Both try to show the future (thought CK is a near future and Arata naru a future from 600o years from now), the technology or what has happened to the world. -Both are weird, but some how interresting.
