Vividred Operation

They have the same feeling like in the VO there is a 'Alone' while in the SW there is a 'Neuroi'. Also loli girls fighting it and flying. 

Bright color scheme in a futuristic utopia, until enemies come to invade. Protagonist is a young, eager girl who is always looking to help others, related to a scientist that seeks to better the lives of everyone around him. Drawing style is somewhat similar. Same ol' lolicon elements, too. Both are great. If you want to return to the Strike Witches world, with a couple of different twists, this is your show. If you want to see what Vividred was probably inspired by, this is your show. 

Both of these have girls fighting enemies to mankind. The main females in both don't wear pants on a regular basis. Both have a fairly out-going, kind (I guess) main character. Both have nice/similar animations.  

Both anime revolves girls who use machines and do aerial combat. 

During episode 1 of Vividred Operation, I had many moments where I though I was watching Strike Witches. They are very similar and I can already see that if you enjoy one, you will enjoy the other. 

From the same people, this anime has a heavy influence on to it such as girls fighting mechanical monsters, the military and navy, and tons of fanservice and Yuri into it. 

I'm excited for this with the Director from Strike Witches and he's doing the character designs! Basically Strike Witches meets Power Rangers!  

Girls flying. Aliens. Same art style. Panties. 

In an alternate timeline, humanity has struggle to fight these "Aliens" that is occupying around Earth. Thanks to the advance technology, scientist had created these power suits that will repel the alien invaders. These power suits are highly advance aerial dogfight combatants that will engage and eradicate the aliens, having the advantage for military support. There are funny moments, cute, yuri and fanservice. The difference is that Vividred take place in a future like setting, using a Vivid Power suit, and fight the aliens called "Alone". Strike Witches take place in history, where they use "Witches" as their suits, fighting "Neuroi". 

In many ways, Vividred Operation is the spiritual successor to Strike Witches. Despite the fact that Strike Witches leans more toward moe/military themes and Vividred Operation is more of a sci-fi oriented magical girl series, both share the common themes of love and friendship. Much like Strike Witches, Vividred Operation is a character-oriented series, and shares the same quality of character development as Strike Witches. It should also be noted that both main characters Yoshika Miyafuji and Akane Isshiki are both energetic in personality and strive to do their best despite the harsh circumstances. Both shows have their fair share of fanservice, however the fanservice is more present in Strike Witches, whereas Vividred Operation's fanservice is more tamed. If you want more action with your moe, you will not be disappointed with Strike Witches. However, if you're looking for something like Strike Witches that is a little lighter on the action, while still delivering the same quality of character development, then Vividred Operation will not disappoint. read more 

Searching for cute girls that protect people and world with sophisticated technology and magical power, this both anime is the answer. Both anime will tell you about group of girls fighting against evil creatures, and... with some fanservice event. Friendship and trust are growing for every battle they do. Recommended for people who like action and sci-fi genre with all MC are girls. 

Moe lolis in extra revealing batle suit saving the world. 

Both series' protagonist are cheerful and upbeat and include girls transforming into battle suits to fight. Symphogear has the added benefit of them having to sing while battling and has less fanservice than Vividred. 

Both have sci fi themed mahou shoujo with a darker twist to it. Both seem cute at first but then sh!t happens and we get awesome plot twists and bad ass mahou shoujo fights :3  

Both series focus on a group of girls who become magical girls to fight enemies (each with their own color). In both, there is one girl (purple) who works from the sidelines with an unclear motive. 

Both are magic girl shows and the "enemy" girl in both series are also very similar. Though Madoka is a great anime and Vividred Operation is mediocre at most. 

It is a Mahou shoujo anime for one, though it is more horror than Vividred. Friendship is a main theme. Madoka and Akane have similar personalities as do Homura and Kuroki. 

Similar premise of a genki girl living on an island in the future. She likes to help people, and when their town is suddenly attacked by alien robots, she steps up to save everyone. 

Both series features science fiction themes involving young girls fighting against enemies to protect what they treasure. Both series' main female protagonist have similar personalities. They both like to help others, wishes to protect what they value, and are generally energetic and able to brighten anyone's day. Both series features a lighthearted school setting where there is comedy, drama, and some tension. Both series has action and some fan service during fight scenes. Both series main characters' days are changed forever after the incident where the alien invaders enter their lives. 

In both series, there are girls who have acquired powers beyond their understanding. From that day forward, their lives changes forever. Both series' main female protagonist are also kind, helpful, compassionate towards people, and not afraid to stand up for herself for others. Both series also a cold hearted female character who is set on her own sights on things. Both series features a lot of action, drama, comedy, and some emotional factors. 

-use of techology based /mecha- abilities, combined with Magic elements in order to fight evil. -the power of friendship as well as MC/ Rival situations -awesome transformations All these result into epic fighting sequences. Make sure to give it try.  

In both series, there are young girls who has the responsibility and power to stop an invasion. It is up to them to stop the violence and eradicated the threat. Both series' main character also shares a bond of friendship and are willing to help others in need. Both series contains action, drama, and some fan service. Most of that action takes place in the form of aerial combat as the girls in both series uses advanced technology to combat their foe.
