Ever get the feeling a particular series is something those of another series would be into? An odd tie in, yet Otome Nadeshiko Koi Techou reads - or more of, watches, like a series which the characters of the Bungaku Shoujo movie would get into regarding their literary club. Of course, regarding Bungaku Shoujo, the series draws upon the literary crowd in the first place, so the other work which contains various literary tropes one would expect from a work of literate would appeal. Add to this, both pieces are on the shorter sides of things.

Otome Nadeshiko and Fune wo Amu are romance and slice of life anime about books. While Otome may be short, the characters are very similar and the shows are both are well paced.

Both are about a girl that falls in love with and artist. While Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is more comedy, Otome Nadeshiko Koi Techou is historical and shoujo.

Both stories are similar in the sense that they are romance in genre and revolves around first love. ONKT is in a traditional setting while NL is in a school setting. Both OVAs are short animations that aims to attract people into reading the manga.

While ONKT is only a small ova and HSgT a long anime, both feature a heroine that is a lady in Taisho Era and falls in love with someone she is not supposed to. If you enjoy sweet historical shoujo, you might want to try these.

Both are short, few minute OVA based on manga, but with not much introduction to the story. They may not be similar in the story, but they have very similar animation and feeling, so I´m sure if you enjoyed one, you will enjoy other.
