Based on the popular video game series, both have strong storylines. Street Fighter is older, so the graphics aren't the level of Advent's Children both the fight scenes can compare.

Both are based in popular fighting game series and have similar story and action.

Both movies are action packed with lots of battles between characters with super powers. Not to mention both Fatal Fury and Street Fighter are based on video games.

Street Fighter and Fatal Fury were both extremely important franchises to the development of the 2D fighting games in the early 90's. They also competed for the anime market at that time. Their best material was/is probably "Street Fighter II - The Movie" and "Fatal Fury 2 OVA".

Both being adaptations, of popular video game series as well as alot action and stylishly cool characters as well too.

There's a lot of similarities between these two franchises, from the original games alone, in these adaptations is basically that 2 protagonists want revenge from the villain, who happens to be a charismatic one who sometimes steals the spotlight to the heroes, there's a lot of fights, but it all leads up to the final boss fights which the best one, just to name a few.

Both are about martial arts and are based on video games of the same names. Both main characters wear headbands and try to find meaning in their life through fighting.

Both have good ol' 90s animation and great action

Both are (arguably) the best anime adaptations of the video games they represent. Both have some top tier fight scenes. Both focus on only a few of the games' characters, with only small or brief cameo appearance by other known characters. Regardless, if you are a fan of either franchise, then these are must watch titles. Side Note: Try to avoid the recently re-released SF2 (Blu Ray edition) it's been horribly re-edited. Stick with the original DVD or VHS versions.

Both are decent adaptations of popular Capcom fighting game franchises from the 1990s packing fluid animation, character designs that look closely similar to the video game counterparts and creating plot setups that make good use of the major characters from their respective video game franchises.

Both have a wanderer as protagonist and good action scenes.

Martial artists testing and developing their skills in street fights. Both series also deal with the virtuous and the destructive ways of martial arts. And, like Street Fighter, Kenichi also has a fighting game developed by Capcom.

Both are based on a classic fighting video game and both have similar plots. Needless to say, both anime comprise lots of fighting scenes. As Toshinden is one of the fighting games inspired by Street Fighter, it has even it's own counterpart of Ryu and Ken duo in the form of Eiji and Kayin.

This OVA and movie remind me of one another. They are both action & martial arts shonen anime. They have similar art styles and both have good animation, story & characters. If you liked one, give the other a shot.
