Fuji TV's noitaminA (ノイタミナ) late night programming block which currently broadcasts on Fridays from 00:45 to 1:45.

These are the animes that targets the young girls of all generations, well recommended ones for fans of shoujo and josei magazine. These animes made me feel a young girl's vibes, even I'm not the target audience. It's because I'm a boy XD Complete variations of genres that shoujo/josei fans might truly enjoy.

A selection of 21st century anime series featuring characters who are adults. From ordinary office workers to traveling peddlers to superheroes, adult protagonists can have a variety of life experiences and many different ways of living. Young emerging adults may still be trying to find their path in life, while established older folks are more likely to have mastered the art of adulting - or at least learned enough to muddle by. Some adults become jaded over time from repeated exposure to the reality that life is often painful, depressing, and unfair. Others retain a more positive outlook by focusing on their dreams for the future or take a more pragmatic approach by putting all their efforts into improving their lives here and now.

This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious).

A compilation of romance anime that doesn't include a school setting.

Sometimes, the tropes get tiring, so here's a list of romance anime that put a little twist on it, by adding a bit of occult, with supernatural beings and powers.

Supernatural shows that have a bittersweet, often sadly melancholic nature and atmosphere. A very different level, from magical realism to almost open fantasy and horror, the main theme is the importance of suffering and sacrificing something important in order to achieve one's goal and save loved ones.

An anime about the everyday life of adults, from the first steps of young students to the serious work of mature men and women. There are no special rules, you can also find here some historical and moderately science fiction works, as long as they are devoted to the daily life of adults.

A list of anime with protagonist's that can see and interact with supernatural entities and spirits, whether that be temporarily or permanently.

This is a list of anime that fall under the 'Cottagecore' aesthetic. The Cottagecore aesthetic romanticizes nature, the countryside and slow living. It consists of peaceful pastoral locations, homemade crafts, and traditional homesteading activities such as cooking, picnicking, gardening, forging, care-taking, etc.

Cottagecore is a western concept, but goes hand in hand with 'Iyashikei', which is a theme often intertwined with Slice of Life. It emphasizes slow living, and appreciates the wonder of being alive. It brings a gentle joy to the chores in every day life, and has a peaceful, serene tone. It's one of the narrative styles that make Japanese works so distinct and charming.

I'll be adding to this list as time goes on. Some of these works wont fully fit the Cottagecore aesthetic, but are close enough that they're worthy of being in the stack.

Anime specializing in various supernatural and paranormal tropes, usually with mystery and investigation underlying. This stack places weight on the more spiritually focussed paranormal anime.

As in, this isnt just anime with ghosts. There's usually a deeper grasp of the details around the paranormal displayed in these anime that present more compelling and believable paranormal themes. Some that are on here are spiritual in a more personal sense, that they stimulate your spirit in a deep way, not always that the anime itself has spirits.

But energies / ghosts / spirits / yokai are usually present. Based on whether the anime left an intellectual impression or not, some may think the anime on here aren't worth it if you're not in an open mind.

For those who are tired of the same highschool setting.
