Arashi no Yoru ni: Himitsu no Tomodachi

Both stories revolve around the relationship between wolves and goats. In the Xi Yang Yang Yu Hui Tai Lang franchise Wolnie actively tries to eat the goats but is outwitted or needs the help of Weslie for something else. In Arashi no Yoru ni, Gabu tries to keep his hunger at bay as he treasure the friendship with Mei. As a whole the series show that a person is greater than the role they're born into. There is a difference in animation styles as Xi Yang Yang Yu Hui Tai Lang is flat flash-animation with some CG backgrounds. Arashi no Yoru ni is completely CG. Both are 3D animated anime about non-anthropomorphic talking animals in a natural environment, both have themes of enemies becoming friends, and both have simple language and humor.
