I don't hear these anime talked about often, but in my opinion, they're definitely worth checking out!

Just random recommendations you may not have seen or heard.

Anime with emo or whatever 2000s nostalgia. Wide-spaced too huge eyes,large forehead, tiny mouth, moe-blob. Some has y2k fashion or catchy tunes. Some are not to watch with other people unless you know they're fine with it. I haven't really watch any of them so I only picked based on thumbnail art-style. Always read reviews + genre tags before watching.

Anime that were dubbed in its entirety by Ocean Productions, a Canadian based dubbing group in Vancouver, Canada.

There are some rare cases like Megaman NT were dubbed but not fully and I decided to exclude those. Dragonball Z was also dubbed by Ocean Prod. at one point in time but they didn't dub episodes 68-122 (To stay ahead with Funimation's dub). Z Kai also has a full dub but that will never see the light of day so I won't include that on these lists either.

A bunch of great retro shonen animes that are either forgotten or never made it outside of Japan.

Shounen doesn't involve romance. I've seen quite a few Anime fans who use this argument to dismiss discussions of who the main protagonist in a Shounen work will end up with. The problem is, instead of being an accurate statement, the statement instead is a red flag to those of us who've seen quite a bit of Anime. We know that person isn't as familiar with the Shounen demographic (not genre) as they think they are, but the intent of this list is to help others better familiarize themselves with the genre.

Has the same or similar narrator/animation sequence before the opening theme plays

WIP. What is the point of this stack? I have no clue. Mostly only includes shows I've seen & remember. There are most def at least hundreds if not thousands of these. (Maybe I should also track shows with an episode preview/recap before the op)

Anime where Yuki Kajiura is credited with Music.

Anime where Ishida Akira plays a main (or at least important) role.

From memory as an avid watcher. Aired either in ABS-CBN, HeroTV, or TV5. Some of these Tagalog Dubbed animes/OVAs may be lost media.
