Recommendations

Both based on Visual Novels. Story based on group of people in closed room. And this people must play in sort of game.

recommendation is directed at the zero escape game as well; not just the ova! both are trippy in a way that both are trying to solve murders and situations in very different environments (zero escape having different endings with connection & id invaded having the different minds of people) and both have an escape room-esque vibe with the zero escape games having actual escape rooms, while id:invaded has the different consciousnesses also side note; uchikoshi's other game series, ai: the somnium files, also picks up the whole "jumping into someone's mind to solve a murder / series of murders" concept

Same scenario writer. This man has written of the greatest Visual Novels: Ever17. If you know about his works you know that he is a really great scenario writer who explains everything. Kotarou Uchikoshi is famous outside Japan because he directed and wrote Virtue's Last Reward and 999 - 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors.
