Both are 3-minute long comedy series, and Morita herself does a cameo in the first episode of Recorder to Randoseru.

Both are pretty much the same: both are about highschool girls talking and doing random things, and both are short and school comedies. However, in Morita-san, there is more animation while in Double-J, there is really little animation expect the ED.

Morita-san has a similar style of "realistic" slice-of-life comedy, and is presented in short episodes (much like Azumanga originally was).

A similar short comedy story about a funny life of girls.

Do you like Slice-of-Life anime? Urawa no Usagi-chan and Morita-san wa Mukuchi are Slice-of-Life anime based on a high school girl's daily life. Both anime are also incredibly short (about 3 minutes per episode). They seem kind of similar on humor too.

Both Morita and Komi are the silent type who stares at people when they're trying to talk to them. The reason is not that they don't wanna talk or that they don't like the person. they are so similar that you wont believe it, a couple of girls and their normal lives, how they interact with each other during school, and a little perverted puns, and the girls personalities are surpringly similar

Cute girls in a slice of life setting. The main girl is different from the others, but her friends are cool with it. Both are also relatively short animes.

Both are very short and funny slice of life comedy series.

Both are SoLs + comedy with quiet MCs who tend to think a lot and have the same seiyuu.

Both are anime shorts only about 3 minutes long~ Though one may be about the lives of Highschool girls and the the other the life of a kitten, both detail short fun Slice-of-Life adventures that leave you feeling cheery afterwards~

Both are about "cute girls doing cute things" and have a slight shoujo-ai feel to it, though it's a little bit more than slight in Yuru Yuri.
