Both of these anime are quite similar if observed in-dept. These pair of mecha starts with a girl appearing before both of the male protagonists, give them powers and use them for their own agendas. Obviously, another one of those similarities is the art. Their character styles have these easily-noticed long, slender arms and legs plus Lelouch and Alma's facial structure are quite alike.

Same good old brainless action: odd super-powers, no explanations, colorful suits/mecha/monsters, power of will, hot-blooded heroes, though "Sacred Seven" ends in much more positive way.

Both link a white-haired boy with a very special, magical girl. Both rely on similar archetypes (another female love interest in contrast the lead female, a dark-haired rival for the white-haired boy, etcetera) and both link high school life and romance with fantasy and action. Also both have nasty monsters and plenty of teen angst! Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi is vampire-based and has more romance; Sacred Seven is mecha-based and has more action. Sacred Seven has better production values although Kuro Usago has more colors.

Both features girls who are extremely rich and powerful. Both features muchachos (male lead) with special abilities. Both were set in school. In both cases, the chiquita (female lead) bought the school were the muchacho is attending. And, in both cases, the chiquita did looked for the muchacho. Dissimilarities: One has an extra Horror, Supernatural and Vampire genre, while the other only has school, mech, scifi and action genre. The Chiquita in DVB is herself a hundred years old, while in S7 the chiquita is probably younger than the muchacho. The muchacho in DVB is himself a werewolf co'z he belongs to a clan of werewolves, while the muchacho in S7......hummmmmm, let's just  read more

Both series contain supernatural themes mixed in with action, drama, and sci-fi elements. Both series contains a main protagonist who discovers a mysterious dormant power that lies within him. Both series also contain a dark theme with melancholy.

Similarities: * The main character is a boy born with special power; * Animation is kinda alike too. * Both of them has that "Sailor Moon" (that means - flashy, colorful and sometimes akward o.o) transformation. So if you liked Star Driver you might like this one, and way round.

The are both about guys who aren't very good at hiding their 'secret' powers.

The series are very similar to each other in style and characterization, something I can't go into more depth on without I think giving away spoilers.

Both are school related and they happen to have mecha type elements combined with the fantastical. The coloring is similar as well as the characters. There is the same emotional pull to both series.

The character designs for the Navi in Rockman.EXE and the hero in Sacred Seven have simularities in style, not to mention there are other things in the style that is reminicant to each other, though the truth of the matter is, Sacred Seven is darker then Rockman.EXE from the get go, and Rockman.EXE doesn't get dark until later seasons.

Both of these shows deal with the fantastical and antiquities that happen to have powers.

Both of these Anime overlapped in their scheduled airing times for 2011. Both series are about heros and being the best hero that you can be. The styles of both series have their simularities in animation, not to mention the characters in the storylines are rather interesting.

Both protagonists come with a tendency to go berserk, the reputation of a serial killer and a wonderful bishi hairdo. They also get at least two love interests each.

Delicious human mutation involving super powers with some nice graphics. Mysterious rival with similar power, and a lot of monster butt kicking :)

Historical anime with dark story lines and lots of action and angst.

Both shows have a guy meeting a cute girl and then some transformation / action occurs. When I watched the newer title (Sacred Seven) I just thought... "again?". But if you liked one you'll probably like the other. They have a different plot but follow the same pattern I guess you could say.
