Both link a white-haired boy with a very special, magical girl. Both rely on similar archetypes (another female love interest in contrast the lead female, a dark-haired rival for the white-haired boy, etcetera) and both link high school life and romance with fantasy and action. Also both have nasty monsters and plenty of teen angst!
Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi is vampire-based and has more romance; Sacred Seven is mecha-based and has more action. Sacred Seven has better production values although Kuro Usago has more colors.
