The similarities are obvious since the first chapters, with both main characters being reincarnated in an otome game they were playing as the villainess. In Otome Game the heroine is reincarnated as a child so she does everything she can to avoid the "red flags" that would destroy her in the game, while in Koushaku the MC finds herself in the game world too late to be able to change much. However, she does everything she can to improve her life.
For both works the demographic is shoujo.
The art style is also similar, although in Koushaku it's more detailed and a little bit less flashy and
