Both of these stories are very touching, heartwarming and heartbreaking at times. Fact that both deal with lgbt themes may drive some people away, but I believe that everyone, no matter their orientation and gender identity should give them a try, that they'd enjoy these stories greatly and be able to get a lot lot of them.

Boys' Love. Our Dreams at Dusk and Boy Meets Maria follow LGBT relationships where two seemingly unmatching individuals end up spending the time to grow on one another. It isn't all just fluffy days, they two go through ups and downs as they go along this paved meander of a journey. When you think of lgbt-themed manga, probably first thing that comes to your mind would be, real big, Boys Love genre, full of cliché romantic series around one and only one theme -mlm relationalships. But, there are two manga I have read which deal with the issue of self-discovery in an incredibly realistic, but still some kind of artistic, way. And these two are Shimanami Tasogare and Boy meets Maria, both showing everything beyond BL templates, touching really mature themes related to lgbt people's problems that some of them have to deal with.

lots of topics relating to self-discovery and who you are. boy meets maria is a bit more dark compared to my dreams at dusk but definitely worth the read!
