Both are done by the same authors (Kentarou Miura & Buronson). Both deal with time travel. Although in "King Of Wolves" main characters travel to past while in "Japan" everyone gets sent to future environment in both of them are weary similar because "Japan" is a post apocalypse type of manga.
Both manga are written by the same duo (Kentaro Miura & Buronson), so they have similar art and plot points. Both feature main character who travel in time, where they have to adapt and survive in new conditions. Also, both manga explore similar themes, have many fights, as well as similar atmospheres.
