Both mangas deal with the idea of affairs (cheating), the guilt of love, and how painful it may be. Both females in both mangas persevere in their love, as the one they love is with someone else (in Random Walk, this is only true in 3 cases). Both mangas are complicated in some aspect as the one the heroine loves is her friend's boyfriend (only true in 1 case in Random Walk). Both works are by the same mangaka.
If you like painful love, highschool love, and cheating (not sure if anyone would like this...) then these mangas would be perfect for you.
