Both manga have a cast of four different women with different personalities and life circumstances having a drink together. Takunomi focuses more on learning about drinks (and food pairings) while the women in Nomi Joshi all drink and eat while discussing topics important to 29 year old women.
Very similar premise, a group of women in their 20s drink a lot of different kinds of alcoholic beverages. Often paired with what kind of food goes well together with the drinks and some alcohol lore.
