Both the stories are disturbing horror masterpieces that make you want to
scream/cry/throw up. And both Jisatsu Circle and Tomie are very deep, psychological stories that are works of fiction that feature very real issues. Jisatsu Circle was more on the profound side and Tomie was more on the gruesome side, at least for me.

Both are horror themed stories on a ya cast particular a girl as well as lots of bad shit happening from time to time that isn't for the faint of heart.
